since i've made a "tribute" to books i currently love, it would be such a shame to not make a "tribute" to the series that i've religiously read and have come to love.. there are three... and one extra series that is special in its own right... so here they are... The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants Series by Ann Brashares it's so sad that it's already finished. this is the series that i've really followed avidly. i think i was even one of the first people to have gotten the fourth book (i think, lang). i so love it and it shows by the fact that even if i'm in poverty, i've managed to buy the last two books in hardbound. hah! but i still don' t have the first book (hint! hint!) thanks ray2 for sharing the series with me... The Harry Potter Series by J.K. Rowling how i've come to read this series is really weird. when i was still in grade four, my dad bought the first two books for us although we were not interested in reading it. a year and a half later, i was hooked and was already on constant lookout for the sequels... i am also very proud that i have a complete set of all the books, in hardbound (well, except of course for the seventh one) The Shopaholic Series by Sophie Kinsella i won't elaborate... it's so obvious.. haha... but i love this series and i'd love to have the fifth book (Shopaholic and Baby)... haven't read it yet.. ----- Sweet Valley Senior Year Series by Francine Pascal although i haven't finished it (hah! tons of books in this series) and would probably never do. i once religiously read it. i've even gone to so many nbs and powerbooks outlets (when i say many, i mean many) just to look for the other books. they're already unavailable in the philippines and probably the whole wide world. uh... so for those who have, borrow! i've only read books 1-10... but i will always love this series and keep it forever in my heart... haha... drama... pero cmon.. every girl has got to have a sweet valley phase...

i am rereading my svh senior year books and torturing myself at the same time (for two reasons)... the first reason being that i know i would have to stop after reading a few books at mabibitin na naman ako dahil si ko alam kung saang lupalop ng mundo ako makakahanap nung ibang libro... kailangan ko na talaga ng book 11-48 nun... at para naman sa second reason, i never thought i would be able to relate to elizabeth's feelings... and i hate the fact that i do... hay...

had my enrollment at up although i didn't exactly finish because of the dost thingamajiggy... owell... it was easier than i thought it would be... and because of the suplada that i am, didn't make any new friends or even bothered to... owell.. that time has got to come, right? saw someone at the queues although i'm not exactly sure he was that person. well.. at least "he" made my day... i was smiling the whole time... maybe i looked like some jerk...

had an absolutely stunning weekend of shopping and watching Shrek 3... yes, i know many people are in poverty right now but i've been on a shopping diet before summer and besides, i'm going to college soon and we wouldn't have uniforms... so... yesterday, my sister had piano classes in park square (which is already part of glorietta ) so we decided to go there earlier so i could finally "finish" my college shopping... i was also excited to check out bayo for their end-of-season sale. i've already been to two bayo stores previously only to be disappointed by the limited number of things i liked and the few that i did unfortunately didn't fit my fitting specifications... so anyway... i was finally able to buy a top from bayo which is pretty and is in turquoise... unfortunately, it's not under their 50% off premise... fortunately it was not that pricey... so now, i have something to wear to clar's dinner thingy na... weee!!! i also discovered that hang ten has a great collection of candy-colored plain collared tops that i ended up buying two (plus the fact that they were giving away a cute notebook worth 295 pesos for free for a minimum purchase of 900 pesos)... i also went to this "store" which hosts a number of kiosks selling various stuff from shirts to pants to bags to accessories. it's very much like the 50th avenue in galleria except it carries less popular brands and there were only kiosks instead of real shops... i was able to buy an 80-peso white long-sleeved shirt, a 100-peso blue denim-ish cutoffs, a 350-peso skinny jeans and a very pretty 150-peso wooden beaded necklace which, thanks to my mother's haggling skills, i only got for 100... anyway... my college shopping is pretty much finished already except i can't seem to find the perfect white bermuda shorts. so, except for that, i'm practically finished... yay! i wanted to buy bags though although my mother wouldn't have anything of it... i'd probably buy more bags next time since i've got a few which i have never even used before... anyway... today, we planned on watching shrek3 at robinson's ermita although my father insisted on going to glorietta instead because he was more familiar with it... (thanks to years of living in paranaque and having no decent mall to go to there, before) anyway... we went to petron dasmarinas first so my father could withdraw and ended eating at kitaro there, again... (piece of advice: if you're going to that area and you want to it at kitaro, i suggest you just go and eat there since there are fewer people and the service is fast...we've eaten there twice and the place is almost exclusive to us... i'm just not sure if it's still that way at a later time... and beside kitaro is one of the coziest starbucks coffee i've been to...) so... after eating sumptuous japanese food, we went to glorietta to watch shrek3. we came a bit earlier so before going into the cinema proper, we sitted in the lounge-ish area first to wait for the movie to finish while my sister charged her phone in the nokia charging station... i, for the meantime, ogled at tom cruise in his last samurai poster while eating cheese popcorn... we watched shrek3 and extremely enjoyed it... although i must say it was kinda bitin, lasting for only an hour-and-a-half... we went to sm to buy hankies and got myself 4 pretty pink hankies... we also bought hair ties since there is a scrunchie ( ) scarcity going on in our house for quite a while now... went to watson's afterwards to buy stuff.. i bought a small pot of nivea creme for only 25 pesos and a bottle of angel's breath eau de parfum... it's so cool... i've been using angel's breath products every time when i was much younger... when i grew older, i think they got it out of the market so it's nice seeing and smelling it back again... wee!!! so.. there... congratulations if you managed to reach this and thank you for reading my shopping "escapades".... yay!!!

i have a very sad sad story... i've been blogging for almost three years (my blog's turning 3 in july, which, of course, is beside the point)... however, i'm sad at how my blog is turning out... i started my blog some time in 2005 when i was in second year high school. i started it in hopes of being able to find ym transcripts of the then "controversial" ray2-tsinelas conversation. it was at that time that i asked kuya dan to tell abovementioned former crush that he was indeed my crush. in short, i made this blog in order to make tsismis and to snoop, basically. which, now that i am writing it, seems like some sort of a jinx... a blog, in my personal opinion, is like an online journal. i stopped writing journals (the handwritten ones) when i started taking my blog "seriously". it's very sad for me that i haven't exactly treated my blog as some sort of my personal journal. true, i have written most of the happenings in my life for the past four years. however, i've only written what is on the surface. as i've said in one of my earlier posts, the only "big" part in my life that i could share without reservations here is my "lovelife"... however, i think i wouldn't be doing my blog any justice if i continue on writing only about my lovelife and things that don't exactly matter.... i want my blog to be something, that after some time, i could look back on and symbolize how i truly am as a person and not just some consumerist, boy addict. so.... i'm having a blog hiatus which i don't know for how long will last... ayun... so bye muna, everyone... and sorry for my very "ma-drama" post...
